Goodbye, Peter Silverman….you were the best man since sliced bread………
I stumbled upon an article that really seems to get me blue. Peter Silverman, the person who is known for his “Silverman Helps” segments was sadly sacked by CityTV management after 20+ years into the broadcasting industry. He is well known for his infamous “Watch it, buddy!” catchphrase and the instance in which he was attacked by the optician about his false practices.
This has angered many people, including myself. But I couldn’t complain about his accomplishments he did during his life. He used to be a war veteran. He is a known author and he is awarded many awards for his accomplishments. I wish Peter Silverman on his own life and if he is reading my blog posting just now, I want to leave him this song lyric from Simple Plan’s “Time to say goodbye”:
“Somewhere in the distance
There’s a place for me to go
I don’t want you to hate me
But I think you need to know
You’re weighing on my shoulders
And I’m sick of feeling down
So I guess it’s time for me to say goodbye……”

This has spread like wildfire:

What the hell was Rogers thinking???? It’s bad enough that this city is going down the toilet with moronic politicians and their stupid decision making, rediculous tax hikes that make an affordable lifestyle a thing of the past and now they get rid of a gentleman who’s only crime was being a SUPER HERO to the underdogs of this city!!! I weep for our future!!!
